Thur orthography has been reviewed and approved by the District language board and the DEO'S office Abim. In partnership with SIL and the Thur Bible translators, we have come up with the spelling rules of writing Thur language.
Languages develop when they are written. Therefore, we urge all the Thur community, anybody who wish to write any literature in Thur language to use the new orthography so that we can develop our language.
Let us arise and begin writing books in our own language and this will not let our language to vanish away.
